Personally, I think forcing people to stand and smile for an hour sounds miserable. I prefer real, relaxed, moments, that unexpected laugh, or the glint in your kid's eye when they're being a little mischievous.
Headshots, pets, couples, traditional families, and far from traditional families. When it comes to portraits that actually mean something, you need room to be yourself. Only some of my process is posing you, because we know you have to have a few mantle worthy ones in there. But the rest of the time I like to prompt you to interact with each other naturally and have some fun to really get those candid moments. Less posing, more humans just being.
